Novibet does hold an Irish licence, and we checked it. What that licence covers is betting, not the casino, and the difference matters.
Novibet is the one operator on this list where the Irish licence claim stands up, and it is worth being precise about what it actually means, because the claim is routinely overstated across this industry.
The Irish licence, checked
We looked this one up rather than taking it on trust. LOGFLEX MT LTD, trading as Novibet, appears on the Revenue Commissioners list of current licensed remote bookmaking operations as at 30 June 2026. That register is maintained under Section 8B of the Betting Acts 1931 to 2015.
So the licence is real. What it covers is remote bookmaking, which is to say betting. It does not cover online casino gaming. If you are playing slots or live blackjack at Novibet, you are not doing so under that Irish licence, and no amount of marketing changes that.
Novibet is therefore better described as an Irish licensed bookmaker that also runs a casino, rather than an Irish licensed casino. We have not yet confirmed which authority regulates the casino side.
No online casino holds an Irish licence. The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland has opened remote betting licences, but it has not opened remote gaming licences, which is the category online casino falls under. Any site telling you a casino is licensed in Ireland is wrong.
Games
More than 5,000 titles, which is among the largest libraries here. Slots include Book of the Fallen, Starburst and Gates of Olympus. Around 170 table games plus more than 70 roulette variants, which is unusually deep. Progressive jackpots include Mega Moolah Goddess and Queen of Alexandria WowPot.
Live casino
Playtech, Evolution and Pragmatic Play, covering game shows, blackjack, roulette, baccarat and poker, with social features and multiple languages.
Sports betting
This is the licensed part and it is properly built. Football, Gaelic games, cricket and esports, with live betting and cash out. GAA coverage from a licensed Irish operator is the most useful thing on offer here.
The welcome offer
Up to €150 plus 50 free spins is advertised. We have not read the current terms, so we are not printing a wagering multiple.
Payments and withdrawal times
| Method | Minimum deposit | Deposit time | Stated withdrawal time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visa | €10 | Instant | 1 to 3 business days |
| Mastercard | €10 | Instant | 1 to 3 business days |
| Trustly | €10 | Instant | 1 to 3 business days |
| PayPal | €10 | Instant | 1 to 3 business days |
| Neteller | €10 | Instant | 1 to 3 business days |
A consistent one to three days across every method is unusual and reads as an honest figure rather than a marketing one. We have not timed a withdrawal ourselves.
Mobile
Optimised site plus Android and iOS apps.
Support
Live chat, email, phone and social at 24 hours. Phone support reachable from Ireland is rare on this list. Some players report inconsistent service quality.
Safer gambling
Deposit limits, self exclusion, time outs and third party support links.
